What is Bohemian Glass?
A great favorite among collectors of unique and bespoke glassware and objets d’art, Bohemian glass first came into vogue during the Art Nouveau era when its distinctive mottled appearance was used in a variety of items from decorative accents to stylish yet functional tableware.
Crafted in Eastern Europe, a region which has centuries of experience when it comes to handcrafted glass, each piece in our Bohème Collection gets its distinctive look from charm bubbles that occur naturally in the glass as each of its layers is blown.
The addition of naturally occurring oxidized materials is what adds color and character to each piece and all our items are certified lead-free, essentially made to environmentally-friendly standards.
